Inspired by Alber’s own fascination with the 1945 Theatre de la Mode. A presentation bringing together the best talents of the post war era, to show friendship and give a much needed boost to the fashion industry.
“Love brings love” saw 44 designers from Virgil Abloh (Off white), Rei Kawakubo (CDG) to Sarah Burton (Alexander McQueen), alongside Pier Poalo Piccioli (Valentino), Nadege Vanhee Cybulski (Hermes) & young talents Grace Wales Bonner, or veterans like Dries Van Noten. Each imaging looks inspired by Alber Elbaz. As an event, we saw the creative directors alongside the CEO’s of Kering, LVMH, Richemont sit side by side in respect & love for the late designer, & what he represented: craft, respect & a true love for the metier & its people.
